POSITION SUMMARY (brief description of purpose of the position)


To deliver world class presales technical support on all deals within   respective market to support the successful development of Qlik business and   contribute to the achievement of the Qlik business objectives, increasing   market share and over achiving against revenue targets in China.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS according to Strategic Business Plan          

 (primary tasks and responsibilities in the job)                                                  

·           Partner   effectively with sales in account development and playing an active business   and technical lead role in the sales process for all customer engagements and   deals for the respective market segment

·           Perform   presentations, training on Qlik Sense & QlikView within the   prospect/customer environment

·           Be   an evangelist in the execution of the Seeing is Believing (SiB) event for all   new customers and act as a product evangelist on all deals

·           Analyse   customer requirements and develop robust commercial proposals of the   technical solution

·           Oversee,   lead and manage all client engagements and projects from a technical   standpoint

·           Understand   our customers’ pains and translate those into viable solutions for the business   maximizing potential to sell

·           Prepare   RFPs, RFIs and all other business and technical enquiries

·           Liaise   and partner very closely with the sales organisation to support deal success   within the market segment

·           Maintain   a solid technical understanding of the Qlik Sense/QlikView in conjunction   with business benefits and unique business proposition

·           Be   responsible for the quality and success of technical presales activity within   the customer environment

·           Manage   the balance between customer expectations and delivering projects while being   responsive to Qlik needs

·           Manage   and own all technical issues that may arise during the buying cycle

·           Convey   key differences/USPs of Qlik Sense/QlikView versus the competitive landscape   and other respective offerings

·           Assist   sales teams in building a compelling business case and ROI for the   prospect/customer

·           Act   as an internal advocate for the customer/prospect

·           Build   robust and successful relationships within the customer base that are based   on trust and deliver the highest level of customer service

·           Educate   Sales teams on existing and new offerings and focus on quality and success of   technical presales processes and methodologies.

·           Track,   maintain and report presales metrics in accordance with company policy

·           Adopt,   maintain and encourage Qlik Core Values and culture in all business activity

·           Assist   in the internal knowledge transfer across the broader Qlik business.

·           Develop   strong relationships internally across sales teams and other functions to   support success on driving/closing deals.

·           Participate   in seminars, trade shows and other marketing programmes in order to promote   Qlik awareness among partner/customer communities.

Qualifications and Experience 

Qualifications

·           Business /IT related   bachelor mandatory

·           Master equivalent preferable

·           MBA   Advantageous


Languages

·           Business level English mandatory

·           Local language proficiency mandatory

·           Other relevant   languages would be an advantage


Experience (technical, commercial,   industry / product / functional expertise, etc.)

Strong presales experience in Software        ideally BI environment

Strong experience in Enterprise level        executive selling and communication

Strong experience in Enterprise Big        Data and architecture understanding

Strong Hands on demo experience to        technical and business users

Preferably having some hands on        implementation experience in Enterprise level BI/Big Data project with        visualization & data discovery
